ACOUSTIC JUNGLE
Their music has been called Latin Jazz, World Beat and Tropique. Their sound is a unique blend of exotic rhythms and Flamenco guitar with popular jazz songwriting sensibilities. Although they hail from the Lone Star State, their sound is clearly influenced by the lush musical traditions of Mexico, South America and the Caribbean islands.
Acoustic Jungle wheels down a path less traveled by modern musicians. Choosing to play acoustic instruments for their warm tones and earthy presance, the music feels, at times, as though it's traveling into the past to reveal a brief flimpse of ancient mysteries. They also effectively capture the sensual pleasure of a sunny summer days on a beautiful beach.

Born in New Orleans, LA, Ryans family moved to Texas during his childhood. Ryan began his musical studies at age 10 when his parents bought him his first drum set. He progresed quickly as a drummer and was encouraged by his instructor to learn a second instrument to further his musical knowledge. His father traded a shotgun for an electric guitar, and was soon driving him to Rock n Roll gigs in popular night clubs. Ryan's true passion, however, was with classical guitar. He soon began studying the classical guitar seriously, tackling many of the instruments most challenging pieces. Ryan is Acoustic Jungle's founder and principle writer of it's many infectious melodies. He hopes his unique musical background and his business degree from the UT in Austin will lead Acoustic Jungle to a prolific future.
