Plain and simple, Slow Burn is made up of professional musicians with an interest in a wide variety of music.

"Blues is about tradition and personal expression. At its core, the blues has remained the same since its inception. Most blues usually have simple structures that are open to endless improvisations, both lyrical and musical. Some musicians held on to acoustic traditions and others took it to jazzier territory.  Most bluesmen followed Muddy Waters' lead and played the Blues on electric instruments, others chose to stay traditional. Over the years the Blues continued to develop in new directions."

Slow Burn has taken influences from the different styles:  Chicago Blues, Country Blues, Delta, East Coast, West Coast, Harmonica, Modern Electric and Texas Blues to give audiences a sampling of what the Blues has grown into along with modern Jazz, Funk and Texas Rock touches.

"Thank you to all the fans and fellow musicians who over the months attended our weekly BLUES, BREWS & SOUL SATURDAY shows and our BLUE SUNDAYS WITH SLOW BURN!

We will be playing festivals and private shows for a while, but we will be performing in a restaurant or two on occasion. Check with Ariez on our status."
