Plain and simple, Slow Burn is made up of professional musicians with an interest in the Blues.
Blues is about tradition and personal expression. At its core, the blues has remained the same since its inception. Most blues usually have simple structures that are open to endless improvisations, both lyrical and musical. Some musicians held on to acoustic traditions and others took it to jazzier territory. Most bluesmen followed Muddy Waters' lead and played the Blues on electric instruments, others chose to stay traditional. Over the years the Blues continued to develop in new directions.
Slow Burn has taken influences from the different styles: Chicago Blues, Country Blues, Delta, East Coast, West Coast, Harmonica, Modern Electric and Texas Blues to give audiences a sampling of what the Blues has grown into.
We customize shows. You tell us what you want to hear and we'll have it ready. Bluesy Rock, Funk, Jazz...it's up to you!
Like certain songs but the lyrics aren't family friendly? We alter song lyrics to make them acceptable for family friendly events.

We are mainly playing private and corporate shows for now, but be on the lookout for us - we will be doing some public shows here and there.
Thank you to all the fans and fellow musicians who over the months attended our weekly BLUES, BREWS & SOUL SATURDAY shows. We had a blast but it's time to move on.
