It takes alot of time and planning to put on a great show. There is gear to pack, setup/breakdown time, personal performance, rehearsals, travel , food expenses and in some cases parking expenses.
The entertainers on this site will consider non-paying shows if:
- it is a good cause
- if they receive other "perks" in lieu of payment
- a paid show in exchange for a free one
The sound system, soundman and lighting (if needed), should be provided along with food and non alcoholic drinks
(if it is an event where food is available). Tip jars and 100% merchandise sales profit is standard.
